Machinery of Government changes - Home Office and Ministry of Justice

The decisions to reshape counter-terrorism structures, and to create a Ministry of Justice have been the product of detailed consideration. While linked by timing, the rationale for making each change is distinct. The two issues are, therefore, dealt with separately in this paper which provides further background to the Prime Minister's written ministerial statement to Parliament.
